About Department

The Course of Electrical Engineering was Introduced in 1995 and affiliated to The Mumbai University. The department provides four years degree course of Electrical Engineering and follows the curriculam of Mumbai University. It has an intake of 60 at first year. The department has well equipped laboratories and well qualified teaching faculties and staffs. The department has collaboration with various industries. The department regularly organize technical industrial visits, training program, seminars, expert lectures and workshop for the students. "Tantragyan" is a national level project competition organized by the department. The students of the department are placed in well known industries.


The department is headed under the Vibrant Leadership of Dr. Chandrakant M. Wankhade. His area of intrest includes Power System, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics. He is having the total expercience of 25 years working in Industry & Teaching.
